INTER-HOUSE QUIZ COMPETITION:
               The inter-house quiz competition was introduced a year ago and allowed the brightest minds to go on show as they display their academic prowess through competition. (Photos below show the team members of Wright and Philips House, playing off at the finals of the recently concluded competition - Wright House is this year's champion).



SCHOOL BUS......Through the efforts of the Past Students' Association and the Parent Teachers’ Association a new 30- Seater Coaster (2000 model) rolled into Dinthill in December, 1999. This effort was co-ordinated by the Principal and School’s Board.

OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENTS .........
1. *On the 17th March 2000, Dinthill placed second in the National    Science & Technology Quiz -Hosted by the UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY’s School Of Technical And Vocational Education in the Faculty Of Education And Liberal Studies . This was the school’s first entry.

The Technical High Schools Development Project (THSDP) is a project that seeks to revise and reposition the focus and programmes of the Jamaican Technical High School System using the Jose Marti Technical High School as the pilot and eventual model. The project which is funded by the HEART Trust/National Training Agency was launched on March 9, 1995.
In order to facilitate the successful design and implementation of the project, the Trust through the Project director - Mrs Loveda Jones has developed a close working relationship with the Ministry of Education and Culture's (MOEC) Reform of Secondary Education (ROSE) programme, the offices of the Assistant Chief Education Officers - Technical Vocational and Core Curriculum Units, MOEC and the Technical High Schools (THS).
